EU Academy
EUChanger’s EU Academy is an interactive training on EU influencing open to all public interest advocates
A hands-on training
Our EU Academy takes place twice a year, in person or online. It’s always interactive, thought-provoking, and practical. It includes a mix of presentations and exercises, conversations with insiders, the simulation of an EU-decision-making process and speed-dates.
Our EU Academy covers the functioning of the key EU institutions, essentials of EU decision-making, influencing skills and practical tools for advocates. The approach is both strategic and hands-on, the content is experience-based and analytical at the same time.
Our EU Academy welcomes beginners as well as experienced advocates. Our alumni come from across Europe and are active in a wide variety of policy areas: climate, the environment, human rights, migration, finance, development, humanitarian affairs, criminal justice and more.
EU Academy trainers are advocates with many years of experience at EU level. They pay equal attention to the sharing of knowledge and expertise on the one hand, and motivation and inspiration on the other. People working in the EU institutions are drawn in to bring the insiders’ perspective.
