Complaints re. breaches of EU law by Member States
Report a breach of EU law by a national authority by lodging a complaint with the Commission. The Commission has the responsibility to make sure that Member States comply with their obligations under EU law. If they fail to properly implement EU laws, the Commission can launch a formal infringement procedure against them. See also the Infringements.
EU Sanctions Whistleblower Tool
This tool protects your identity and allows you to contact the Commission anonymously to report possible violations of EU sanctions. EU sanctions (‘restrictive measures’) support the objectives of the EU’s common foreign and security policy. The European Commission monitors the implementation and enforcement of EU sanctions across Member States.

European Ombudsman

Register of groups advising the Commission for the preparation and implementation of legislation and policies, and of other consultative entities managed by the Commission.
European Committee of Regions (CoR)
Advisory body representing regional and local authorities. The Commission and the Council must consult the CoR on legislative proposals that have impacts at regional or local level. The CoR monitors the respect of the principle of subsidiarity. See also REGPEX.
European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
Advisory body representing employers, trade unions and other civil society organisations. The EESC gives opinions on proposed EU legislation and policies to the Commission, the Council and the European Parliament.
